As you may know from the very existence of this newsletter: I’m pretty passionate about marketing design as a discipline.
It’s an incredibly valuable role within a company; perhaps one that doesn’t get the recognition it deserves a lot of the time. I’ve seen so many designers choose the product or UX design path because it feels like that’s where the opportunities lie. And as a result, I’ve heard from companies that it’s getting harder and harder to find talented marketing, brand & web designers to hire.
Through my YouTube videos sharing my process as a marketing designer, my interview series about how marketing design functions at other companies, and an upcoming book I’m writing I’m trying to help designers get the skills they need to be successful in marketing design. Introducing the Inside Marketing Design job board!
This job board is a curated selection of in-house design roles that focus on marketing site design, building an impactful brand, creating marketing materials, and driving growth.
My goal is for it to be the first place you look for a marketing design, web design, brand design, or art director job. And the first place someone hiring for one of these roles chooses to post them.
